In this season of uncertainty and calamity, we need the reassurance of the presence of God and a powerful reinforcement of the redemptive purpose of God. The Psalms are unflinchingly realistic about the human condition and, at the same time, a revelation of God's intervention and capacity to strengthen and restore us.
